Prior to setting up an eSignal account connection you must have installed NinjaTrader. Please review the installation guide for further instructions.

eSignal data only service – eSignal data only service – NinjaTrader has made arrangements with eSignal for a discounted "data only" service which can substantially reduce the eSignal subscription fee. Please click on purchase order form for promotion pricing details and if you have any questions on this service, please contact eSignal directly at 800-815-8256.

  1. Start NinjaTrader
  2. From within the Control Center window, select “Tools > Account Connections…”
  3. In the Connection Manager window, press Add…
  4. Follow the instructions provided in the Connection Wizard
  5. As per the image below, enter in the information provided by eSignal
  6. eSignal provides servers for different subscribed services, if you are not subscribed to
    a particular service remove the default sever address from the appropriate field
  7. Leave “Enable Tracing” disabled unless instructed otherwise
  8. If you are operating through a proxy server please fill out the optional proxy information
    provided by your network administrator otherwise leave these fields blank

Critical Information

If you have not subscribed to Level II data from eSignal, you must leave the “Level II server” field (highlighted in yellow below) blank. Level II data provides the Depth-of-Market information for NinjaTrader and this data will not appear in NinjaTrader if you have not subscribed to it.
