    Tried to access Bars.Session. SessionsOfDay[] properties, but I did not get anything. Tried <BeginTime> and <BeginTimeExchange>.

    Is there any way to access the active session template?

    Agree with gomi that BeginTimeLocal does not make sense, as it varies with daylight saving rules.

      Harry,

      This information has been changed several beta versions ago. You will want to use Bars.Session.GetNextBeginEnd() now. The Help Guide docs do not currently reflect this.

        Yeah nearly went to go and blow my head off after this discussion...

        Well anyway there's a new method, that strangely uses a time as parameter . I use
        Bars.Session.GetNextBeginEnd(time0, out BeginTime, out EndTime);

          Hi Josh,

          thank you for your quick answer. As far as I understand this is a method that returns SessionBegin and SessionEnd, I assume in local time?

          What I want to access is the information stored in the active session template as defined by the chart, such as DayOfWeek of the first day, for which a session is defined, and begin and end of this session as stored in the session template.

            Harry,

            Unfortunately that information is not accessible.

              Renko chart bug

              Just tested whether sessions were correctly displayed on different types of charts. It works quite well. Also Bars.FirstBarOfSession works for all types of charts including the most exotic ones, but with one exception:

              It does not work on Renko charts.

              There is no particular reason that it should not work for Renko charts, as the bars and the sessions are correctly displayed on the chart. Maybe somebody can solve the mystery. As far as I noticed, only the very first session bar on a chart was recognized by Bars.FirstBarOfSession, all other ones were ignored.
