DataSeries Custom Range

Hi,

When setting up a chart using the Custom Range to load data, shouldn't the start date remain fixed?

At present, a Start Date used when opening a chart appears to be incremented by a day as a new day is detected. This would in effect seem to be the same result as using the Days option, except that an initial start date can be specified.

It would be better if the Start Date remained constant so a constant Custom Range can be used.

If this is currently 'expected behavior", can consideration be given to adding a Fixed Start Date option as well.

Current Date at time chart is opened. That updates (increments) each day which would be expected.

Thanks for the clarification.

When using the current date as a 'Last Date', this is the expected behavior. If, however, you used the prior day, your range would remain fixed upon reloading NinjaTrader the next day.

In summary - what you see is expected at this point. I will, of course, forward your comments on to my development team for further consideration.

Thanks, yes please forward this as the option of keeping the development of a range from a fixed start date under review is very useful.
