Script Editor and bulk Selection

I was setting up a folder with the script editor and notice some strange "Bulk Selection" issues. Seems like bulk selection might work okay outside of a sub-folder, but inside the folder, it takes 3 clicks while holding down shift.

1) Standard first item selection
2) Shift Click last item (should select all, but just adds last)
3) Shift Click 2nd item and all are now selected.

I would hope to be able to release the SHIFT key at this point, but if you do, you will only drag and drop 1 item (this is livable, but figured I would note it).

I am able to select the items I want by left clicking on the first item and then holding SHIFT and clicking one on the last item. Are you seeing this occur in Windows 7 or 8?
