Strategy analyzer not showing chart trades

I've been playing around with the strategy analyzer and noticed when I click to display the chart to look at the trades, no trades show up.

If I click on the trades tab and then right click -> chart it opens a new window with the trades in it and they appear to be correct but the indicators no longer display.


Additionally a couple times when I run an optimization it only returns one result. Other times it works as expected and gives me the quantity of results I specified. I haven't found a way to consistently reproduce this.


Also, is there a way to quickly jump to historical trades on a chart? In NT7 I could press CTRL+left/right arrow but in NT8 this doesn't seem to be the case

Thank you for your post.

Testing this on my end I see trades in the Strategy Analyzer chart tab. Do you have a test script we can test on our end to reproduce this behavior?

However, I do see that the CTRL + directional arrow left or right does not work on the chart to skip backward or forward to the previous/next trade for NinjaTrader 8. And I see that the indicators are not added to the chart that opens from the chart option on the trades. I will forward these over to development as suggestions.

Thank you for the additional details.

I am able to reproduce this exact scenario as detailed in your video. It appears to be isolated to Optimizations as my tests on Backtesting and Walk Forward produce trades on the chart. Please let us know if you run into any other items with the Strategy Analyzer.
