    data issue kinetick

    chart is showing ES running straight up at 92 , but its was really trading at 78 10 pt drop

      Thank you for your post.

      I was not able to recreate a difference in price between NinjaTrader 7 & 8 when testing here. Could you please restart both applications then reconnect to Kinetick and check real-time data on ES 06-15 once again and tell me if you are still seeing differences between the two versions?

        kyle it seems to be delayed on my end , sorry bout that , its live data on nt7 but not 8 , is there a setting for this?

          Hello,

          Thank you for getting back to me.

          Data should be live provided that your Kinetick account's subscriptions include live data. There is no setting within NinjaTrader 8 which should cause data to be delayed.

          Are you connecting to two different Kinetick accounts or a single account?

          When testing here, I had connected to the same Kinetick account in both NinjaTrader 7 & 8 on the same PC. Does this testing environment match your own or are you perhaps running NinjaTrader 7 & 8 on separate PC's?

            I am seeing the delay here too. About a 10 min delay on my NT8 chart of the 1 min ES with Kinetick compared to NT7 CQG data. Both instances of NT on same computer.

              Hello,

              Please contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message, please include the following:
              1.) A link to this forum thread.
              2.) A copy of the Config file which you will find in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 folder.
              3.) A copy of today's log and trace files:

              You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Log folder.

              The log file will be named "log.20150506.txt"
              You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder.

              The trace file will be named "trace.20150506.tx

                This may not be a NT8 issue for me at all. If I connect only to Kinetick in NT7 I also get the same delay of data.

                  Hi eDanny,

                  Based on your description, this may relate to the Kinetick account's subscriptions. I can check in to this with Kinetick support if you will email me with a link to this thread and your Kinetick user ID.
