VS integration is designed to work with VS2010, VS 2012 and VS2013. Other VS versions may or may not work.

I added your suggestion to the list: #324

    Thanks

Works fine with VS Express 2013 for Windows Desktop as well..

2013 now also brings the ability to attach a process in the express editions.. Not sure if 2012 did, as I went from 10 to 13.. but Loving the seamless integration, and intellisense that VS Brings.. Thanks for the great upgrade!!

        NT8 & VS 2015 is working

The link from the code editor won't work. You just have to open the csproj file from visual studio and you are good to go. Mine is here:

C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Custom.csproj. Find your code and open it.

Turn on debug mode by right clicking in the ninjascript and then click debug mode to on. Attach to NT8 from Visual studio. Then compile from within NT8. This will load the symbol files and allow Visual Studio to hit your break points.

I'm running on Windows 10 and VS 2015 Community and no problems so far.
