Historical data unfriendly error popups take up time

Historical data unfriendly error popups take up time and annoy the user

Also are vague.. as well as annoying...

that is feedback from my use base not me.... but yes i find it not the best pattern either

Thanks. I'm off the mind that the user should be clearly notified about data error. This is what our users expected and got with NT7 and earlier versions of NT.

That being said, the 'same error cause' should not trigger unnecessary, additional popups. Hence I needed to understand how if that scenario could be reproduced in order to analyze further.

Exactly notify of errors - Indeed you can notify them of the error without putting up 100s of popups that take 30minutes to close - 1 popup per instrument would be an improvement
or a popup with a message text box or grid with the messages is an easy concept to create for a better user experience - alos adding some info as to what the issue is... why was there an issue all basic stuff for your talents and budget and time you have on NT8

i connected to kinetick and set the back period to 1995 to currnet and tried to download for the basket of default forex

Thanks. We displayed the same style of error message in NT7 and our current thinking is its better to have the error to show something did not complete as expected then just proceed like everything is fine.

That being said I do see room for improvement which I added to suggest list #329.
