MotherBoard Bios Update

I just updated the BIOS on my motherboard and started NT8. It gave a security warning and requested my License Key again. Once entered, it had also wipe out my NTBroker and TDA account information (but didn't tell me other than a scary message).

This forced me to contact NTBrokerage to find out why my account was locked out.

Hopefully this is expected within NT8, but I would change the message to state: Please reenter Account Information, or Account Information Erased...

Something to tell me to check my login information which worked fine Minute before...

Yes, this is expected as the computer's machine ID is used to version your config file for security purposes, if this information that generates the machine ID changes, account sensitive information will be reset.

Can you send in your log files for that date so I can trace back the exact sequence of events? I would not expect that error you posted unless there were 3 subsequence login attempts to the a username that failed (which would happen if your password was removed) however based on your response it sounds like that error came up immediately.

We'll work to make the initial error message more clear.
