FEATURE REQUEST: Silence!
It would be nice to globally silence NT8 sounds. Sometimes they are not needed and sometime they are simply not welcome. It would be good to have a quick way to disable all sounds. See attached proposed implementation screen shot.Tags: None

Picture a system with 40 to 80 strategies all entering around market open, this puts an enormous load on the CPU to generate all the sound that is simply not needed. It would be nice to avoid generating sound, like I assume is done during back testing and Playback at high speeds.

What you suggest is a better option, if the option you propose would mean that the sounds will not be generated at all.Last edited by koganam; 06-29-2015, 08:14 AM.
