Transparent PnL box in Chart Trader

    8.0.0.2 (Multi-Broker) - BETA
Parallels Desktop Version 10.2.0 (28956) - Coherence Mode
    OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
If you're not interested in bug on the above type of machine, just let me know. I'll always indicate the above config in each bug report etc.

    ***************************************

The PnL box of the Chart Trader panel has a transparent background. When there is no trade in place the 'PnL' text is present but the background of the box is transparent showing whatever is behind the chart window.

I think that dino is just trying to keep an eye on your PnL for you...

Please double check the color depth of your virtual machine. We can support down to 16-bits, but please let us know what settings you're using that may be causing issues there.

There were changes to the skins regarding the PnL brush in Beta 3. however I'm unable to reproduce what you screen shot is showing. We'll be releasing Beta 3 with those updates next week. If the color depth does not help, do you mind testing that again next week and letting us know if you still see issues?

Well... I un-installed Beta2 and installed Beta3 and Dino is still peeping through the PnL box. Strange that is the only place I see it happening. I'm using 32bit colour depth.

        Hello,
Are you seeing this for all the PnL boxes or only for chart trader?

I see the problem with all of them (Basic Entry, Chart Trader, SuperDOM, FX Pro ). Somthing I didn't realise before, is that it is transparent over every window on my desktop (including the desktop itself), except when it is over the chart area of an NT8 chart window, or any part of an NT7 chart window. In which case it is black.

            Hello,
Do you receive the same with Coherence Mode disabled?
If this continue to occur with Coherence Mode disabled please test with starting NinjaTrader with a blank workspace.

            Shut down NinjaTrader

            Navigate to (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces

Cut and paste all the files within this folder onto your desktop

Restart NinjaTrader which should startup without any workspaces.

Once NinjaTrader has started on just the control center, please open a new chart with no custom bar types/indicators/templates and test for issue.

OK. In modal view, the entire Chart Trader panel becomes always-on-top, so I get the chart behind the control center but the chart trader panel in front of it.
In other views, all works as one would it expect it to. i.e. it works correctly.
Now, I've also discovered that Parallels display driver is actually incompatible with Windows 10. I can't upgrade to Windows 10, so this issue should probably be ignored until Parallels fixes things. In any case a transparent PnL panel isn't a show-stopper.

              Deleting workspaces made no difference.
