Who use NJ base in other path ?

I move my base on other HDD, and run NJ with

"C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8\bin64\NinjaTrader.exe" /d "D:\NinjaTrader 8"

If compile indicator, NJ Script Editor display error CS0006 that not found NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll in old path C:\....\Documents\....\bin\Custom\

If copy NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll on C:\....\Documents\....\bin\Custom\, NJ Script Editor display other error CS1704...

What need fix that Compiler work ?

Thank you for your post.

Right click in the NinjaScript Editor > select References > remove any to the wrong directory > and then add the proper directory for the assemblies.

Hello,

You would not be able to just copy that one file to the directory it is looking for, NinjaTrader is looking for its custom folder and its references which have been moved or modified.

I am unsure if moving the platform the way you did will work completely, can you confirm, had you un installed the platform completely and removed the documents NinjaTrader 8 directory and then re installed and picked the D drive directory in the installer?

If not, this would likely end in the installation not working correct. If you have not done the steps above, please do an un install and re install and specify the install directory in the installer.

After doing this, check if there are compile errors that need resolved.

You will need to remove the entry in yellow and leave the one that points to where the NinjaTrader documents directory is actually located but the platform would also need to be installed in the steps listed above.

If you have done these steps and are still getting errors please let me know.
