    Chart Sizing Options

The dialog box from the left top corner of the NT7 charts is missing in NT8 (restore , move, size, min max, close) this menu is useful and should be included.

NT8 Charts do not scale correctly on a 4K monitor LG31MU97 in Portrait mode (2160x3840) using Display Port. It seems to work correctly in Landscape mode.

If I have a chart on the monitor and double click the window (or click the maximize button) the chart will scale to 2160 x 1600 but not 2160 x 3840, also the window does not respond to moving buy clicking on the frame of the window nor does it allow changing the height by dragging on the bottom of the window.

NT7 charts work exactly as expected on the 4K monitor

    Hello James108,

    Thank you for your post.

The options should be there on the NT 8 chart, can you attach a screenshot?

For the 4K monitor, can you also attach a screenshot?

      Screenshots

Here are examples of the stated issues.

Also missing is the ability to drag on the top of the widow to get a windows out of maximized mode, right now you have to double click the top of the window or go to the top right corner to deactivate maximized mode.

this feature was present in NT7

I see the same issues on a standard HD monitor in standard landscape. No size options in the left corner and no drag-to-resize from maximized. The drag bar is inoperable when the chart is maximized. Same is true for Output, Alerts, Editor, Control Center windows and I am sure for all available NT8 windows.

            Hello eDanny,

            Thank you for your response.

This would be due to the design of the windows in NT 8. I will report the rezise on Maximize item.

Do you have any screenshots of these events? Can you define toolbar size a bit further or provide a screenshot of this?

We appreciate you reporting these items and I will be happy to look into these further.

                        Hello laredo787,

NinjaTrader 7 functions based on Windows Forms, the behavior you are seeing would be expected of a window in Windows Forms. As the Chart Toolbar is not part of the Windows Forms border but inside of it.

                            laredo787,

Thank you, I missed that it was freezing. Can you actually send us your log and trace files? This should not be occurring and I would like to look into further.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support. Please place 'ATTN: Patrick H - 1358093' in the subject line.
