    Editor question

How do I do a "Collapse All"? NT7 did one, whether you liked it or not, with every save, which means also with every compile. NT8 does not do that, but I also do not see how to do so manually. What am I missing?

+1 on that.. I actually liked it when everything collapsed on compile..

I'm now finding working in the NS Editor can be very frustrating at times, the way it will arbitrarily uncollapse every single region just by adding or modifying a simple line of code.. Might not seem like a big deal, but when you have dozens of regions and thousands of lines of code, it can be a major pain..

      #region Editor FRUSTRATIONS

      yes !

I do share the same frustration about #region C# command into the NT Script Editor !
Weel, we all now it is trivial and that the giys from NT may be more occupied on different stuff but this issue is really annoying sometimes...

        I recently posted this: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ad.php?t=75638

Would that approach suit your needs too?

              Yes...
I still have the same frustrating #region error in NT8-Beta7: code is messing all around once you open a { or once you type #region or once you open a simple ( ...

I hope you guys will have some time to fix it before the final NT8 stable release.

              Thanks for your effort.

I can provide a bit of insight on this and similar issues. We are using third-party WPF components from ActiPro for many things in the NinjaScript Editor, and issues in the current version of ActiPro controls/tools are resulting in the behavior you are seeing with code region expanding/hiding. We keep an updated list of known issues with ActiPro components, and our development team regularly works with ActiPro to identify new fixes for known issues.

                  Thank you for reporting this.

Will you force ActiPro to correct this issue (this is an unexpected behavior of the software so it is an issue, not a really a simple bug) before the next or the final NT8 release ?

                  thank you for the effort.

If only it were that easy As I noted, we are regularly checking back with them (as well as submitting bug reports of our own), and we stand ready to implement any fixes that they release when available.
