IB and charttrader not yet ready?

Today I tried first time NT8b3 and Windows 10 and latest IB TWS using a real trading account.

As of my first tests there are problems , the response of the chartrader is sluggish, and a too short click on a buy button will not trigger anything.

Once in position (I was long 1 Dax future @10502) no information was shown on the charttrader, See picture

Other problem is that the PNL shown is alway 0, also in the positions tab.

Please understand that I will not continue testing using my real account, as then I have to check the real situation in TWS.

Hello Andreas,

Do you experience such issues only when trading your live account? If you trade the sim101 account, is ChartTrader sluggish and are order buttons responsive?

What TWS version do you currently have installed?

Am I correct the position was displayed in the Positions-tab?

I understand. I will test it on my end and see if I can reproduce.

Did not try yet,

one could try the Sim101 account and also the IB demo account. Yet no time for other tests.

When I test the the IB demo account, I did not experience any issues. The position is reported in ChartTrader and PnL is reported in the Positions-tab. Also, the order buttons in ChartTrader functioned as expected.

When you have time, can you please check if you can reproduce the issues using the IB demo account.

Now tested NT8b3 on Win7, and IB TWS from april 2015.

I am using the simulated IB account.

Once in position, the charttrader will not show PNL data but continues to show FLAT.

NT7 on the same computer runs flawlessly.

p.s. I see another error now : NT8 positons says FDAX 12-99, but I was trading the FDAX 09-15 contract.
