    B4 Installation ends prematurely

    When trying to install NT8 B4 on x64 Windows 10 Enterprise N the Installation fails to start. Attached is the Installer error screen. This is the first screen shown after installer start. NT8 B3 installs without issues.

    Hello ttzankov,

    Thank you for writing in. To help narrow down the issue, could you please answer a few questions?

    1. Have you already installed an earlier version of NinjaTrader 8 successfully on the computer that is giving you the error?

    2. Do you have any antivirus or backup programs active? If so, please temporarily disable them before running the installation.

    3. Are you running the installation from an administrator account?

      Hello

      I am domain user with Local Administrator rights. I have successfully installed Beta3 on this machine. Both fresh B4 and Upgrade from B3 to B4 fail.

      Attached are the 2 entries in the event log for the failed installation.

          nt8b4 install fail

          same here,

          on a win 10 system with NT8b3 the update to NT8b4 fails

          Will send log later

              Same here

              I am experiencing the same problem, even when I turned off antivirus on Windows 10.

                  Same problem. I work in Win10 with Admins right. Clear installation on Windows, without B3.

                  If run B3 installation, not have this error.

                  Ps. I found that Win10 have .NET Framework 4.6, Visual Studio Express 2013 blocked installation too, if run installer .NET Framework 4.5 that display message - Windows have Framework.

                  Next step ?

                      I did get this message on Win7 x64... but it was preceded with a message about a running instance of NT (which was NT7).

                      Might be that 4.6 is the issue?.

                        My Win 8.1 have 4.5 and not have 4.6, I see they have bugs in installer and not correct check windows components.

                          Has anyone seen this same issue appear with the Beta 4 installer? If you have not tried yet, please try to install Beta 4 and let us know if this issue still persists for you.

                            I have Russian Win 10, Win 8.1, may be problem with region and component, if you tested on other computers.
