Hello,

what happened to Order.Token and Execution.Token?

in NT8 can I use Order.OrderId and Execution.ExecutionId instead?

I remember that in NT7 the Token values where guaranteed to persist for the lifetime of an Order or Execution. Is this the case also for the new NT8 defintions?

Hello,

We've changed the way that orders, executions, and other items are accessed in NinjaTrader 8 to provide greater flexibility and control. You now have direct access to Order and Execution objects, which will persist until set to null, along with all of the object's property values. So the short answer is Yes, OrderID and ExecutionID will persist for the lifetime of an Order or Execution object itself, even past the time that the underlying order is filled or execution occurs.
