    Hi svopex,

    Did anything prompt this crash? I notice that your first run today crashed, but the second did not. Did you do anything differently the time that you experienced the crash? If so, does the same happen if you do that same action again?

      Hello,
      NinjaTrader 8 crash in the night, when AOS ran. I didn't see it.
      When I ran Ninja trader today morning at (about) 9:00am again, everything is ok and Ninja trader now works about 9 hours.
      I do not have next information about the crash, "crash" dialog you have as print-screen in the attachment in my previous message. I sent for you NinjaTrader log files too (in the attachment).
      I am unable to simulate the crash.

            Have you experienced this again while running the same strategy overnight? There isn't much for us to go on here, in terms of investigation.

                    Hello,

                    Thank you for providing the strategy.

                    I will test this on my end to see if I can reproduce what you are seeing, I would like to check if you are able to also re produce this on Market Reply. If so this would be much more easy to narrow down what is occurring as I would be unable to test overnight or outside of our support hours.

                    Also are you on the current beta 5 release?

                      Hello, beta 5 not crash yet. Everything is ok now.

                      Problem is, by my opinion, when Ninja tarder 8 crashed, does not provide adequate detailed logging information (detail log about crash)...

                      I am C# developer too and C# provide detailed information when program crash. And you can write this detailed information to log file.

                      Please tell developers about it :-)...

                        Thank you for the reply.

                        NinjaTrader does have extensive logging which are the Log and Trace files, these do contain information about crashes depending on what had occurred.

                        In this case, the crash had occurred in a place where there was no ability for the platform to log the crash information.

                        It seems by your reply this has been resolved with beta 5 though, if you need further assistance please let me know.
