NT8-B4 - charts are loading very differently

I ran some Playback-MR for ES 06-15, 06-05-2015 from NT7 imported data.

My Playback controller is on 6/9/2015 2:43pm.

Now - I'm using 5 minute charts.


I'm getting candles that are different. My new charts aren't creating candles for 6/8 and 6/9 but have trades from those days stacked in a line.

It appears that changing another chart to ES 06-15 produces a different set of candles and hence different indicators.

I'm not sure if this session is corrupt, but I will restart and see if I can make heads or tails of this.

recreated the issue.

Ran Playback-MR, have 2 saved five minute charts in workspace of ES 06-15.

Switch chart 1 to 1 second. Used the mouse wheel to scroll back some and forward.

Didn't go to the end of the chart.

Switched the 1 second chart to 5 minutes, and got the slightly different candles.



I've marked up an example with some differences (There are more in there).

This is an issue since an indicator may not produce different results on different charts. That's not really good.

Here's another vector - I finished up the play for the day,and had to create a new chart to get my "text & markers" of the trades.

Now right away I noticed my indicator (modified KeyReversalDown/Up) are slightly different than the original chart, because the candles are "different".

Also- The text and markers of the new chart are off by 1 candle.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I'm not experiencing this with the current internal build. Can you please upgrade to Beta 5 and see if this is still occurring for you?

I've had issues with the TICK charts /B04/ and not sure if that is by design or can be the same at all?! Tick charts are depends where the tick count starts from... not sure if you can make them the same that is why I did not open a thread on this yet...
Compared NT7 and NT8 800 ticks charts on CL and were different. Shall I open a new thread? Please advise and thanks,

Yeah - that's totally different than here.

This is NT8 5 minute chart not matching an NT8 5 minute chart from Playback.

Thank you for re-testing. Just to be clear -- both charts are on Replay, correct?

Can you please send me the data files that you are importing from NT7 into NT8? I'm thinking that perhaps importing the exact data you are working with may help me to replicate the behavior.
