Unable to set commissions for Playback Connection

Right clicking on the playback connection in the Accounts tab shows the "Edit Account..." item grayed out. How do I apply commissions to the playback connection?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your post.

You can actually define commissions per instrument and instrument type.

Please see the steps below on how to apply a Commission Per Instrument Type.

    1. Navigate to the Control Center -> Tools > Commissions
    2. Click 'add' in the Templates section (at the bottom)
    3. Type a name for your commissions template in the 'Name' field
    4. Under the section 'Commission Per Instrument Type', select the instrument type that you would like to add the commissions to and then select 'edit'
    5. Set a value for either 'Minimum Commission' (commission rate per side) or 'Per-unit Commission' (commission rate for each individual contract), and then click 'OK'.
    6. Click 'OK' to exit the Commissions window

Please see the steps below on how to apply a Commission Per Instrument.

    1. Navigate to the Control Center -> Tools > Commissions
    2. Click 'add' in the Templates section (at the bottom)
    3. Type a name for your commissions template in the 'Name' field
    4. Under the section 'Commission Per Instrument', select the instrument that you would like to add the commissions to and then select 'edit'
    5. Select the instrument you would like to add the commissions to and then set a value for either 'Minimum Commission' (commission rate per side) or 'Per-unit Commission' (commission rate for each individual contract), and then click 'OK'.
Click 'OK' to exit the Commissions window

Now you will have to apply the commissions template you just created to an account. Please see the following steps to do so.

    1. Navigate to the Control Center -> Accounts tab
    2. Right click on an account and select 'Edit Account...'
    3. On the 'Commission' row, select the name of the custom template you created in the pull down menu
    4. Click 'OK

      Thanks for the reply Drew.

You didn't really answer my question and I don't know how much clearer I can make it so I'll just restate. In the third section you have above:

      1. Navigate to the Control Center -> Accounts tab
      2. Right click on an account and select 'Edit Account...'
      3. On the 'Commission' row, select the name of the custom template you created in the pull down menu
      4. Click 'OK
The 'Edit Account...' menu item in step 2 is grayed out (not selectable) when doing this on the playback connection. The Sim101 account works fine and shows the commission name, the Playback account shows "None" as the commission name.

        Hello,

        Thanks for clarifying.

We are seeing this same behavior on our end. We have reported this to the Development team, who will investigate this matter further.

Thank you for taking the time to report this matter!
