How can I delete indicators?

For example, the Jurik Scam
indicators
or what not Compile Let?

In the NT Control Center go to Tools, then Edit Ninja Script, then Indicator. That opens a new window listing all indicators. Highlight the one you want to delete by clicking on it once. Then click on the Delete button in the bottom center.

Then comes an error message.
The indicator can not be deleted
because the file reference in another Ninja script.

Search your system for references to the one you want to delete.
(Windows Explorer, in the NT7 folder, DB, indicators or strategies folder).

Delete that from control center.

I assume you were trying to create an indicator and it would not let you compile it. If so, do the following:
In the script that gives you the error message, do the following:
Right click at the bottom in the white text area where the code is and click "References"
In the list that then opens up, look for the line that has the "Jurik Scam.dll" and click on it.
Click Remove.
Click OK.
Now right click again and click Compile.

If this was the only error you should be all set, otherwise if other errors are detected, please post a screenshot.

There is no supported method to delete them because they are protected indicators that are not there until you licence them: they just have their reference implementation signatures loaded. You could try editing them out of the file that creates their reference. I would suggest that you do not try to do so.

To confirm, are you using the NinjaTrader 8 beta or NinjaTrader 7?

If you are using NinjaTrader 7, then I suggest writing in to PlatformSupport [at] NinjaTrader [dot] com along with the error you recieve when attempting to compile. This way, we'll be able to advise the exact steps needed to proceed.
