    unhandled error: there already is a market data handler subscribed

    Seems to be causing data gaps and no restart of data after connection loss.

    Strangely, Accounts is showing two instances of same futures account.

    NT8 beta5.

    Any ideas??

      Data Gaps

      CQG Futures and Ninjatrader FXCM.

      Migrated/upgraded from NT7. Connect to CQG first. Was working great and it may be that I've changed something that's upset it. Not sure what though.

        I don't seem to be able to reproduce this on my end, are there any steps I may be missing?

        Also, are there any expired futures contracts you're able to locate in any of your workspaces?

          Not to sure about steps because I've been using this since first released.

          QG expiration did however coinside with the issues I'm having now that you mention it.

          There's several data gaps in minute data that I had traded through and worked fine. Presumably these got wiped when I've reloaded data to get price moving again after internet interruption.

          QG is out of the system now and I'll see if things have improved when I get a chance.

            Might be too early to tell but the problems seem to have gone now. ES data gaps for 29-9 are repaired...

            Seems likely that the expired contract was causing the problem somehow.

            I gather these are to be avoided

                Problems seem to be resolved so far as gaps and starting again after internet interruption. Good result and it likely was linked to an expired contract going by the timing of problems occurring.

                Error message is still coming up when connecting to Ninjatrader FXCM though.

                  Latest glitch in market data handling had the chart showing me a 3R loss the moment of executing. Stop nicely in place 2R above price (trade was long).

                      Might be several things going on.

                      My charts all on default equidistant spacing.

                      Did note data gaps of several hours occurring on ZB (historical minute data) when having one chart loaded with ZB alone and another with ZB and ES.

                      Will pass on anything that seems revevent.

                        There's no market data handler to unsubscribe shutdown exception

                        Lately been getting this unhandled exception notification as NT8B5 is shutting down: There's no market data handler to unsubscribe. Also time gaps on charts, CQG. HDS9
