trend channel lines - Ctrl 2

Hi , trend lines added using Ctrl 2 result in the following observations :

The lines 'walk', as new bars are added, the more bars the worse it gets.

A 200% line is not parallel with the 0 and 100% lines - intermittent.

The lines are in front of the candles, not behind as in v7.

    Rgds.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Can you please attach a screen shot of your chart so I may look into the issue further.

To capture a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file then attach the file to your reply.

Can you go to the Windows Control Panel->Display and tell me what percentage your display is currently set to.

Also can you tell me what version of NinjaTrader 8 you have installed which can be found under Help->About.

          Hi, details as requested:

          w10

          8.0.0.5 64-bit (Multi-Broker) - BETA

I'm not sure what your after re the display %, does the attached help ?

BTW, I think it's related to the lines 'walking' if I draw the Trend channel and just idly move the lines around, sooner or later they are no longer parallel. Not by much initially, but it does happen over and over.

          Thanks

The setting I am referring to should be found under the main Display page as seen in the attached screen shot.

I recognise and am familiar with your screen shot, but I think that may be that a W7 feature.

I might be wrong but I just cannot find it in W10. I haven't changed anything re the display settings other than as shown in my earlier screen shot, ie to include a second monitor.

Can you replicate the problem ?

It should become apparent pretty quickly. NT7 does not have the problem.

Found it. In w10 it's now part of the 'magnifier' feature.

It is set to 100% om my pc.

Unfortunately I was unable to reproduce this behavior on my end when testing. So I may test using your workspace and settings can you please go to Help->Email Support->Subject: Attn Chris Jameson->Include a link to this thread in the body of the email then below put a check next to the following items before sending:
