    Chart Draw Tool Problem....

    When applying a trend channel tool ....when you adjust the parallel line position, it does not remain parallel.

    Thank you for the feedback.

    Can I ask, which anchor was being used when this happened?

    I was not able to directly re create what is in the image, but do see that all of the anchors seem to provide different movements.

    Can you provide details on the specific anchor used to reproduce this and any other steps needed?

      Just checked...had show global checked true on both data series...
      when I unchecked the box bars...then you can adjust parallel line without a problem...

      Personally do not need box bars to also show global...

      Just looking at NT7 though....you can have both series set to show global true & it works OK when adjusting there...works either way there.

          Question on Trend Channel though...in NT7 the parallel line had a slightly larger square in the end you needed to grab to move just the parallel line...in the NT8 version both ends look the same...would it be better to have a way to distinguish which end to grab to move just the parallel line...??...maybe make the grab end a solid dot...??
          Something like this perhaps would be better in my view.

          Sometimes one draws the tool right to left rather than left to right etc...and you want to grab the correct end.
