Can't connect to Interactive Brokers with NT8 B05

IB live account does not connect

I've done a bit more testing on this...

env:.
NT 8 B06
NT 7....29
Win 8.1 ent

I can connect to both IB account from NT 7 no problem.
I can connect to IB paper account from NT 8 no problem yet can not connect to my live account...

I'll do send the requested files as per post #12.
I've tested this with B07 and got the same results.
No issues connecting to paper but no "full" connection to live account.

slow loading of charts Intercativebrokers

so my workspace has only 5 charts -zb, es, nq, cl and vix. it takes around 2 minutes to load these once i connect to IB (1 minute charts) seems slow?

It can take some time to load charts. It depends on how much historical data is loaded and the amount of indicators that need to be calculated. If you reduce these items, do charts load quicker?

ok now that i am trading I see that the Dom has a delay compared to charts...

If you have just one chart and one SuperDOM opened without indicators or add-ons, do you still see a delay?

Do you experience the delay for all instruments or is it limited to a certain instrument?

If you open a Basic Entry window at Control Center-->New and select the same instrument, is it in synch with the chart or SuperDOM?

In addition, what TWS version do you have installed? You can check this in TWS at Help-->About TradersWorkstation.

problem solved the dom in 8 has some sort of suppresant when my mouse is resting on it, right?

Yes, this is as expected for the dynamic SuperDOM. If the cursor hovers on the price ladder, it freezes the price ladder so you can submit orders more easily due to the price ladder being dynamic.
