    Buy Sell Chart Markers Suggestions

What about having 4 different colors for 4 different chart markers...

    One for buy entry
    One for buy close

    One for sell entry
    One for sell close

It seems that one could visually evaluate trades on charts more easily that way...??

And perhaps the text could extend further above & below the chart...with a vertical line connecting to the entry or close arrows. The text as is can clutter the chart.

Perhaps abbreviate the text for markers...above or below price for trade...
Something like this maybe to reduce clutter on chart...

    B E X = buy entry X contracts
    B C X +/- (T) = buy close X contracts and (T) ticks profit or loss this trade

    S E X = Sell entry X contracts
    S C X +/- (T) = Sell close X contracts and (T) ticks profit or loss this trade

It is hard to see the chart trade entry points currently. (too small & timid) See earlier suggestions for trade markers here...

If a "greater than" wedge was used for entry points, it would be much more visable.
This would be an easy revision.
I also like the offset up & down flags better than Ninjas arrows. See link above for graphics on these suggestions.

    Thanks...

    Hello Alfred,

You can certainly program this behavior yourself with a custom script or you can enlist a 3rd party to create a custom script that does this for you.

I have submitted a feature request on your behalf for plot executions to have 4 colors instead of two to better represent long entry, long exit, short entry, and short exit. I have also added the request for abbreviated text.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Provide Connecting lines from Entry to Exit as In Strategies

Another solution to this concept is to connect the Entries and Exits (Stops and Targets) with lines as is done in Strategies. This solution would be low hanging fruit as the code should already be there. Just allow the lines to draw during discretionary trading.
