    Addon VendorLicensing message

    Every time I run NinjaTrader, a message appears to authorize the add on "VendorLicensing".

    Is there any way to disable this message?

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Can you please provide the steps you have taken to import this AddOn into NinjaTrader 8?

    So we may try to reproduce this on our end, please follow the steps below to create a NinjaTrader 8 backup:
    • Click on Tools -> Export -> Backup File.
    • Ensure everything is checked and then click on Export.
    • Select a location for your backup and click on Backup.
    • Once this is done, please attach the backup file that was created and attach it to an email to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com

    If the backup is too large to attach to an email, you can use this website: https://www.wetransfer.com/

    For friend's email, you will want to enter platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com (in proper email formatting)

    Enter your email.

    In the message, please reference my name and a link to this forum thread.

      Hello ZacharyG,

      I have removed the assembly VendorLicensing from Tools/Remove Ninjascript Assembly and I have imported it again and the message does not show already.

      Maybe the only difference is that I have unmarked the Debug Mode in the NinjaScript Editor before import the VendorLicensing.zip.

      Edit: the problem persists. If mark Debug Mode the message is displayed when restart Ninja.

          Please, can you try the next steps before I send the backup file ?

          1.- Import the VendorLicensing.zip file.
          2.- In the NinjaScript editor clic on Compile.
          3.- Restart Ninja.
          Then the next message is displayed.




          However, If you restart Ninja without having compiled anything before, the message is not displayed.

            Yep, I can concur this happens anytime you compile anything..

            Also, if you add your vendor code to an addon and re-compile, it will immediately fail authorization regardless if your machine id is added or not.. I've used the optional callback to exclude my machine id for the meantime to get around the issue..

              Hello cls71,

              Thank you for that valuable piece to the puzzle. I am now able to reproduce the behavior on my end after compiling through the NinjaScript editor and restarting NinjaTrader.
