Draw Tool Feature Request

Hi,

In the Region Highlight Y indicator it would be very useful to have an item in the Properties menu for adding a visible text label (right margin or left margin) to the drawn region. Perhaps also useful for Horizontal Lines as well.

At present one can add a separate text box, but it won't be synched to the Region Highlight indicator as more data comes in.

I have been thinking of doing this myself, but thought it would probably be fairly straightforward for NT to do, and useful for many users.

Thank you for writing in. I have submitted this as a feature request for the ability for drawing tools (specifically the RegionHighlight tools) to be able to display a visible text label aligned to the drawing tool. I will update this post when I have further information.

I agree! But I think there should be a setting for all drawn objects to have text AND for the text to only show up when the mouse is hovered over the drawn object. MetaTrader has this feature, and it's a great feature. It's a way to add text to an object, but not have text all over your chart. The trader can add notes as to why the horizontal line is there for example, but the text will only show when the mouse is over the horizontal line. Great way to keep the charts clean but still have lots of info on it. I'm honestly surprised that 7 or 8 don't have this out of the box!
