Don't see any way of doing this since bartype just seems to inherit the instrument that is on the chart. Unless there is some way in Instrument Manger of defining a synthetic instrument as a weighted sum of other instruments, which also is not apparent.

Synthetic Instrument Bar Type... possible in NT8?
Is it possible to create a bartype for a custom synthetic instrument by basing the calculation on inputs from more than one master instrument? Yes, can be done in an indicator by using the Add method, but how about creating a real honest to goodness bar series?

Hello,
Thank you for the question.
Currently I do not see a way of accomplishing this using a bar type, you would need to be able to subscribe to multiple instruments or have some kind of multi instrument as you stated.
I will forward this to development as a feature suggestion for weighted instruments.
I look forward to being of further assistance.JesseNinjaTrader Customer Service
