I like that the Alerts feature has been improved. However it is a very long-winded process to make a simple price alert.

Really it just needs to be "right click -> create price alert -> ok"

I'd recommend looking at FXCM's MarketScope Platform their alerts system is so simple.

No problem. Even if we could set a template or something, or load a saved alert. My alerts are all the same. When bid price crosses price x pop a dialog and make a noise. I enter the same info ever time.

I like this idea also. And please can we have templates for alerts. It takes a lot of mouse clicks (9 clicks) to add an alert that pops up and beeps... We should be able to save our normal settings as a default (and perhaps have our default be the option that is used when right-clicking in the OP suggestion?).

Also some suggestions I have mentioned previously for consideration:

1) Have the option to add an alert 'action' type which is a windows 'Notification' (i.e. shows in the bottom right of screen) as this is less intrusive and will remain there until we can deal with it.

2) Have a button on the popup/notification which says 'Go to chart' or something similar, and it will make that chart where the alert is the active window. This is useful if the alert is in one of our background workspaces when it activates.
