I have a really strange one this time. I get the following error when I draw a ray between two particular points on the daily chart of one particular instrument (AUDUSD), but not when I draw rays anywhere else. It seems there's something unexpected about the two data points.
"Failed to call OnRender for 'Ray': 'Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index'"
Here's a video clip to demonstrate. (It plays back in fast motion, sorry, but I think it shows the issue.)
Here are some steps to reproduce.
Start with one daily chart of AUDUSD. I used candlesticks, but I see the same issue with OHLC bars.
Set Snap Mode to Bar and Price.
Draw a ray between the lows of these two daily candles: 5 Sep 2015 and 30 Sep 2015. (See attached screenshot.)
Change to another instrument and back to AUDUSD again.
The ray disappears, but is still listed in the Drawing Objects window. However, the Line data is missing (colour, style & width).
You can then remove it, draw other rays to verify that they work fine.
Draw another ray snapped to those particular points on AUDUSD daily chart, and the error occurs again.
My PC and NT8 are set to UTC+12:00 (NZ).
I'd be interested to know if anyone else can reproduce this.
Cheers
Tony
