    B6 Stuck in Infinitely Repeating Unhandled Exception

    Trying to test if the crosshair issue with right-clicking the X-axis, as reported for B5 (http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ad.php?t=78845), has been fixed.

    Right-click ... looks OK
    Again ... looks OK
    Again ... maybe even a double click(?) ... Unhandled exception! ... which continues unendingly -- the only way to stop it is to restart NT8B6.

    EDIT: I assumed restarting NT8B6 would fix it ... but it does not! I restart, the chart on which I tested remains blank and the Unhandled Exception starts immediately ... and continues indefinitely. It is not just one error that returns when dismissed -- it is continuously producing the error.

    Thank you for reporting this. I'm not seeing the same results on my end when right-clicking in the X axis with the Cross Hair disabled. Is there a specific instrument, interval, or other chart settings that must be in place to reproduce the issue? Are you running any custom scripts on your chart at the time? Can you think of anything else that may be coming into play to reproduce the issue?

      Thanks for looking into this, Dave.

      The chart it occurred on was 15 minutes, Forex (EURAUD, I think), nothing else special. No indicators, no scripts, no strategies, ... very vanilla.

      Given that it starts as soon as I start NT8B6, wouldn't that mean there is something in the database that has been corrupted. Perhaps that could provide some answers? In any case, I'll send you the associated trace and log files directly. Happy to provide any other files you need.

        That would be great, and it may help to send your database, as well.

        Update: I've just looked into your log and trace files. Although I can definitely spot the error message, I'm still not able to pin down a reproducible scenario. Your database may hold the key, based on the timing that you described.

            Thank you, I'll keep an eye out for it and post back here with any updates. In terms of trying to mitigate the issue right now, you might have luck doing a completely fresh reinstall (including the Documents/NinjaTrader 8 folder).
