B6 Total Cash Balance of Accounts

Two live accounts:

• NT FXCM: Cash Value $500.00, Total cash balance $0.00
• Gain: Cash Value $500.00, Total cash balance $50,000.00

Why?

Currently Total cash balance is not provided thru the FXCM API.

Thanks, Christopher. That certainly addresses half of my enquiry. Will the FXCM API be enhanced to provide more data elements? (I suppose that is up to FXCM?)

The other part of my enquiry relates to the amount of the Total cash balance that is reported in the Gain account. In the NT8 online documentation, Total cash balance is defined as "The total cash available in the account including any debits or credits".

Why is it 100 times the Cash Value?

I have submitted your suggestion to our development team for Total cash value to be added for FXCM and will follow up as soon as a tracking number has been assigned.

Gain may be calculating and reporting the Total cash value with leverage such as 100:1 however I would suggest contacting them directly to confirm this for your specific account.
