NT 8 Chart Update Interval?

Is there a Chart Update Interval setting in NT8 like in NT7? If not, how often do the charts update? Thank you.

Hello,

Charts update at a static interval in NinjaTrader 8, so it will not be changeable. We have tested with a few update intervals at different points in the Beta phase, and the current interval will not be set in stone until we reach a full production release.

Its 250 ms.

I was running NT7 at 100ms ...
Isn't NT8 supposed to be an improvement ? Why the downgrade ?

The overwhelming majority ran it at 500 ms so from our perspective this is an upgrade. However, I can understand that from your perspective this is a downgrade. I will add this to our list of feature requests.

There is not a way to currently change this option within NinjaTrader 8 like in NinjaTrader 7. I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to implement that setting.

Having given NT 8 a quick test run I'd say this would be the single biggest issue that will keep me at NT 7. Next to a SuperDOM the charts for ES, NQ on NT 8 seem sluggish and unresponsive to price change. Even compared to 500 ms at NT 7. I switched to 100 ms on NT 7 because I have a powerful PC/CPU and the charts buzz. I'm a very visual trader so I need to see the ticks occur quickly on the charts. I'd second the development request that this be customizable again in NT 8. I was around a looong time ago when pre-NT 1.0 was in beta. Back in the day before there was a company. Hello Ray!
