NT8 dies...says it wants to run in "Compatibility Mode"

    NT8 dies...says it wants to run in "Compatibility Mode"

    Got a very weird NT8 crash this morning... Was doing Development work on indicators...when I get the 'your program has stopped working' screen.
    Before I can click to exit.....I get a Windows message saying that NinjaTrader8 will be restarted in "compatibility mode".

    I am running WIndows7 Pro...(and will be for a long time). Not sure why NT8 thinks this is an 'old' version of Windows..(or vice versa).

    Let me know to whom I should send trace and log files...

    (almost forgot....running 8.0.0.7 64-bit NT8)

    Update: Closed out and restarted Windows....NT8 comes back up and seems to be working. Have to finish what I am doing, but will take a closer look later today

      I can't make this problem occur again ...(now I am testing using the new b8).
      The original problems may have been some window related thing...(who knows)...and b8 seems to have fixed several of the weird little 'window problems' I saw periodically.
      I don't think this one-time occurrence is a big issue.
      Consider it closed...(thanks!!)

        Same thing happened here in 8.0.0.11 and it might have affected the gradient brush. Checking the Compatibility Properties for the NinjaTrader.exe, I don't see that any compatibility settings were actually applied.

              Yep...that was my experience as well. I tried to make it fail again, but whatever 'black magic' was in force at the time of the issue, never popped up again. The fact that you had it happen on the current beta, sorta concerns me a bit... I am curious, which version of Windows are you running (Win7 or Win10)??
