    partial class in sub folder

I started porting my NT7 code to NT8. After getting scripts completed I realized I should be able to keep them all together in new folder.

    I
    >created a new folder under Indicators and renamed it.
    >dragged 6 Indicators to the new folder
    >After dragging a partial class indicator I get this error "Inconsistent accessibility . . ."

    see attached .doc for more

    Ideas?

    Hello tquinn,

    Thank you for writing in.

In order to investigate further, can you please expand the Error column so we may see the error messages in full?

To do this, place your mouse cursor over the divider between Error and Code and then click and drag to the right.

With the entire messages exposed, please provide a new screenshot.

        Hello tquinn,

Ensure the access modifier for partial class Indicator matches up with the classes attempting to inherit the Indicator partial class.

More information about the CS0060 compile error can be found here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/5732hs83.aspx

Please, let us know if we may be of further assistance.

          Thanks,
I added public to the partial class. But I now get a different set of errors. (see attached)

I'm still foggy about the Inheritance!?

            Hello tquinn,

You are getting those errors because your partial class does not contain definitions for those methods.

Your partial class needs to inherit the Indicators.Indicator class.

Please take a look at this page for more information about class inheritance in C#: http://www.csharp-station.com/Tutorial/CSharp/Lesson08
