Connecting to NT Brokerage - String Format Exception

I am having all sorts of problems with my system starting to freeze up with NT8B8. As such, I have had VS2013 open as the debugger to trap any problems. It catches nothing and NT8 freezes, no errors, no log, no trace.

The only thing that seems to come up when connecting to NT Brokerage is a DateTimeException. Seems to pop up about 3 times per instrument that is being subscribed to tick data, didn't try non-tick..

Still trying to isolate the freezing issue, not sure if this is related, but should go on the to be fixed list.

In order to narrow down the freezing issue, I suggest using the steps below to launch NinjaTrader 8 in safe mode. This will cause NinjaTrader to launch without your saved workspaces and also will Connect on Startup disabled, which gives you a clean environment to test in.

1. Close NinjaTrader 8
2. Hold the Ctrl Key + double click the NinjaTrader 8 icon
3. When launched, the NinjaTrader 8 splash screen that appears when loading should say Safe Mode.


For example, re-create one element (charts, SuperDOM or other windows) at a time in NinjaTrader, then close and restart so you can monitor at what point things begin to slow down.

My general feeling is after testing is it is outside my control, not indicator related but a DEADLOCK within the NT8 GUI thread. Hopefully you guys can find this issue.
