indicator plot disappears

    indicator plot disappears

    randomly, i notice that my 9 ema plot disappears from the chart. i know its still there as my entry order is attached to it.
    you can see any example here. my entry order is right where the 9 ema should be showing.

    now it came back by itself. i guess there is some delay in painting or after it got filled it came back. atleats this screenshot proves that my mind is not playing games

      Does this only occur when you have an order attached to the indicator? Also can you tell me what version of NInjaTrader you have installed which can be found under Help->About.

            I have tested this on my end and was unable to reproduce this behavior. So I may test using your files please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for the following items:
            • Workspace files and UI settings
            • Template files
            • Database file

              my database folder is 10 gig. what files do you want from that folder

                I will not need the entire db folder and when sending the files thru Email Support it will automatically zip the files prior to sending. To forward the required files for testing please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for the following items:

                • Workspace files and UI settings
                • Template files
                • Database file

                  Happened to me here too. One easy solution:

                  Just delete your template and rebuild it from a fresh chart, and should be fine. For some reason NT charts/temp get corrupted and behave funny.

                  I had an indicator plotted on the chart but will not show on the list of indicators on the chart. Also, in another case there was no plot parameters on the parameters list for the indicator. Rebuilt a new chart and fixed everything.

                    when i reload the ninjascript, it loads the indiccators fine. the issue here is to point out the defect. i am trading on 5 minute charts, and i dont want silly defects like this to trouble me when i am trading.

                          When forwarding this information only the database files "NinjaTader.sdf" will be included as opposed to the entire db folder which contains historical data, replay data, etc.
