Hello Codeine,
Thank you for your post,
Are you adding the Donchian channel and using the MACD as the Input series? I tried this on my end, leaving the channel in the main chart panel and it did work as expected. If not, can you please clarify on what you're trying to accomplish, and what's happening?
If it helps, feel free to add a screen shot.Eric B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hi Eric,
Yes, I am adding a Donchian channel using MACD as an imput, but placing it in its own window and adding MACD to it. This works on NT7, but when I try this with NT8, the scale will not allow me to add the MACD in the same window and I lose the Dochain channel lines.
NT7 - The scales match so I can add a MACD to window 2
NT8 - The scales are different so I can't move the MACD into window 2

Hello Codeine,
Thank you for your reply,
To clarify, are you wanting the Donchian channel to the same chart panel as the Data Series?
In both your screen shots, it does look like this is taking place, in the NT7 screen shot the MACD is in a panel 2.
Regarding having the MACD and Donchian in the same panel, due to the values these indicators plot being so far apart, if they're plotted in the same chart panel with Auto Scale on, it would be expected for the panel to show no data.Eric B.NinjaTrader Customer Service
