Strategy Enablement Error

Hi NT8,
I'm not sure if the following is a bug in NT8 or if I'm just doing something wrong.

Anyway, while my "Playback Connection" was connected I added the strategy from this link http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ead.php?t=6652 to a chart and tried to run it in Market replay.

For some reason I could not get it to "enable" and in my log tab I saw the error message in the attached screenshot.

I also got the same error message when I tried to run it in in NT8's Strategy Analyzer.

(FYI: I am using NT8 version 8.0.0.9. When importing the strategy from the link above into NT8 I did not replace NT8's EMA indicator with the EMA indicator in the strategy's zip file. Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem. )

What kind of chart did you add it to?

I don't remember exactly. Why do you ask? Have you had the same issue?

No, there is warning in the code about adding it to smaller time frame charts or something. I'm not sure if that's what is throwing the error or it's been overcome by NT updates (code breaking changes) since it was made.

Hi Matheyas5,

This example has AddChartIndicator() in State.Historical which is causing the error.

I have corrected the error and asked our IT to update that thread.
