    FXCM Api Errors

    Hi i have tested FXCM Api have errors on some forex symbols
    chfjpy eurgbp
    trading system place wrong lot size buy 10 , sell 10000
    but system set to 10000 buy or sell
    if i swithch back gain capital Api works fine
    and one more problem
    at close friday trow over extra 10 orders on profit loss
    gain capital api works fine in this case

    Hi !!! i try IB Api after FXCM
    have problems too
    disconnect every day , just shutdown TWS
    ninjatrader 7.0.1000.31
    tws 955.3b

      Hello GainForex,

      TWS 955.3b is not supported with NinjaTrader 7, you must use standalone Traders Workstation (TWS) version 944.3.


      The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to Interactive Brokers and specific connection configuration information.


      You must have standalone Traders Workstation (TWS) version 944.3 (browser version is not supported) installed


      For your other issue, please send a screen shot of the behavior you are noticing.
      To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

      Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

        Hi !!! Traders Workstation (TWS) version 944.3 dont work any more with IB , cant log in .my be last ssl update ?
        any new version IB support NT ?

          Hello GainForex,


          There has been no change in the way NinjaTrader 7 connects with IB.


          The steps to connect NinjaTrader 7 to IB can be found at this link: Interactive Brokers Connection Guide NinjaTrader


          Can you please send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

            Hi !!! i look on web , every one complain about IB every day disconnection, my be add articles to connection gage how to disable auto log off ?
