    NinjaTrader Beta 8 Mandatory Update

    Ok. I download and ran the Mandatory update but not one imported indicator or strategy remained like Supertrend and UniRenko. What a mess... any idea how to get this back without reloading every indicator and updating every chart.

    Crazy mess imo.. We had to do this going from 7-8 and now having to do it again is not making me happy right now.

    Anyone have any suggestions or do I just need to start over again.

    What did you update to what?

    It sounds like you tried to go from NT7 to NT8-Beta? Your custom NT7 indicators will require an major code conversion.

    There is an update to NT7 to 7.0.0.31 that you will need by this coming Sunday. Download that and run that. Make sure to exit any running NT.

      I all ready went to NT8 beta. The only thing that remained the same was my work spaces loaded ok. But every imported indicator gone like UniRenko and Supertrend. .

        yeah, UniRenko and SuperTrend don't ship with NT.

        Contact the authors of the indicators.

          I had these in NT8 just fine before this must update version now they are all gone. I will have to reload everyone of them.

          Just tried to the my backup system and the exact same thing. captured this error http://screencast.com/t/TucuqSgAlc and everything is gone.

          what a complete mess up... I know it beta...thats the answer I will get...

            Are those indicators compiling?

              Thanks Sledge.... something is wrong... I may just delete Beta 8.9 and start fresh again.. Need to get some sleep because im tired and upset at this point.

                Hello ProlongWealth,


                Can you please send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.

                  ProlongWealth,

                  I know there was a code breaking change for UniRenko and the old version will not work with the newest NT8 beta 9. There has been a new version coded and is available in the download section. Not sure about the others.
