    Lots of Unhandled Exception Errors on NT8 B9 startup

    Hello,

    I'm getting alot of errors on startup now. just yesterday this was working fine, but today for some reason I'm getting a ton of errors...nothing changed overnight on my end, I just shut down NT8 for the night and got up this morning and on startup all kinds of problems. One of my charts just doesn't load up right at all, right off the bat, and if I try and load a template I saved earlier it doesn't load right. The template worked great yesterday. I'm at a loss as to what is going on here.

    I'm attaching a screen shot of my logs and the messed up chart.

    Anytime I Reload Historical Data or Reload Ninjascript I get Unhandled Exception errors.

    Edit: I fixed by going to Control Panel --> Repair Ninajtrader8...now everything seems to work as it should.

    2nd Edit: This actually did not fix the problem, I thought it did, but now I'm still getting Unhandled Exception Errors. When reloading All Historical Data or Reload Ninjascript on the chart NT8 B9 freezes.

    I've uninstalled/reinstalled NT8 3 times now (including clearing browser cache, and deleting all previous NT8 files) in the past 2 hours, and still no solution to this. I have my current setup backed up and I have restored it each time from a point in time where everything was working fine.

    Help please, this is def not stable enough to trade off of.

    Are you using any custom items in your workspace? Also, if you close the workspace via the Workspaces menu, does reloading Historical data or NinjaScript trigger errors in a new clean chart?

    Please write in to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post..

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Log folder.

    Attach any log file that lists today's date.

      Similar issues here.

      Upgraded to NT8 B9 from NT8 B7 just this afternoon.

      1. Recompling the same code is significantly longer.
      2. Running a historical backtest on anything greater than 1 days worth of minute bars causes all the windows to blackout temporarily, and CPU to 48%.
      3. Random popUp error of " Unable to load server side config file".

      no improvement by restarting Ninja.

        Unhandled Exception Error on NT* B9 on Startup - Again

        Happened to me again this morning...See attachment for Log screen shot.

        I never heard back from NT Support regarding my email yesterday with 6 trace files and 6 logs detailing the errors.

        I already sent an email to [email protected] regarding the trace and log files for this mornings errors.

            Just wanted to share this bit of info I figured out.

            If you are auto connecting to multiple data feeds and getting Exception Handling Errors when your work space loads...try this.

            Open up a blank workspace, save it just like it is, blank. Save your workspace with all your charts and stuff, then close it while leaving the blank workspace still active...basically you should just have a Control Center up and that's it. Now close down NT8, and save the blank workspace as you exit. Now restart NT8.

            When you restart it will load the blank workspace first (while your workspace with all your charts is still in the list), let all your connections connect and then open your regular workspace.

            I don't get Exception Handling Errors on start up now loading up NT8 B9 this way. Hope this helps anyone getting start up errors.
