    Global drawing objects disappear from all charts if one chart is closed

    I'm not sure of a work around, but it's a bit frustrating behavior:
    • Open a chart
    • Put a drawing object on there (horizontal line, for example)
    • Then set the horizontal line to "Attach to all charts"
    • Then open a second chart (same symbol), you will see that horizontal line, as expected
    • If you close this 2nd chart, it will remove the horizontal line from the first chart even though this was where it was originally drawn (not expected)


    Even if I change the 2nd chart to another symbol before closing it, it will still delete the horizontal lines from the 1st symbol.

    Perhaps this is behaving as expected, but it's a bit frustrating when there are a lot of objects setup and lost.

    I am able to reproduce this behavior on my end with the current Beta release.


    I have submitted a bug report to out development team to investigate this behavior further. I will update you with any details as they become available to me.

      I am finding my horizontal lines disappearing quite often (upon full reboot) even though I'm not deleting charts like originally mentioned (lines still defaulted to "all charts"). So, the problem may expand further. Have you experienced this too?

      I save my workspace quite often to make sure they stay (as well as upon exit), but they still disappear after reboot.

      Do you know if dev has found a fix for this for the next release?

        Having the same sort of issues for the last 2 beta releases.

          Hello,

          The development team has found a resolution to the issue, and the resolution should be implemented in the next release of the Beta.
