nt8 wont connect iqfeed

iqfeed works fine eith iqfeed. but it wont connnect to nt8
dtn say it is a nt fault.

Piggy back your NT connection onto a already active IQfeed connection with another platform if you can't find a fix for it or it keeps happening. Seems to reduce the number of times NT fails at connecting to IQfeed by itself.

I have tested IQFeed and I was able to connect successfully. I also tested the method provided by TyJack and was able to connect this way as well.

Have run into the same issue as original poster. Not as bad as his though it seems. NT8 sometimes, intermittently is unable to connect to IQFeed on start up. It usually comes up with a error stating it can't make the connection to IQFeed but usually will connect on the 2nd time manually trying to make the connection. Its not setup to auto connect on start up, everything is manual. This is a intermittent thing that happens.

I have noticed today, NT8 has lost the connection to IQFeed a couple of times but I think maintains the CQG connection that is also running along side the IQ connection. It reconnects by itself and seems to go on.

Not sure why its dropping the connection as the other platform that's running seems to maintain the same IQ connection through the still open IQ connection manager when NT8 is dropping it.
