Lines and Fibo Retracement Line do not auto grip

I found that line and fibo retracement lines draw in NT8 chart do not auto grib to the Tick price of the candles.

E.g. Say for my chart per tick size is 1.00. if I try to draw an line and drag it to 9.80 it stays at 9.80 value on the Y axis and did not try to auto adjust/grip to 10.00

Is there a setting that I can work on to make this feature work?

Understand NT7 has this behavior though.

Hello ystan79,

I was able to get a new Fibo to snap to the ends of two candles using the following method in NinjaTrader 8 :

• In the Drawing Tools toolbar menu, I selected "Bar and Price" as my snap mode
• In the chart, I pressed F8 to bring up the Fibonacci Retracements drawing tool
• I clicked below the bottom wick of one candle
• I clicked above the top wick of another candle

If this is not what you meant, could I ask you to provide some pictures of what was working in NT 7 that is no longer working the same way in NT8 ?

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
