    Hi jg123,

    Thanks for your reply.

Correct, our documentation is also in beta and our focus continues to be on documenting things that we have not previously had available. We will be getting the educational side updated soon.

To assist I've created a short video of what i previous suggested that I hope will be of some value: http://screencast.com/t/kXGDwBzzkD4Y

This is great feedback. Thank you

I am now looking for where I can get sample code for writing a basic oscillator like this but I seem to be striking out. The tutorials for NT8 NinjaScript do not take you anywhere (there is no link) and it appears that the NT7 code doesn't work for it (if i am understanding the update correctly).

I have also looked in the reference material here on the forum, but I can't find anything there.

Could you be so kind as to reference me to where I can look to create that?

    Thank you for your help

    Hello jg123,

    Thanks for your post.

To accomplish your goals you would need to create an indicator from the Bollinger indicator that provides a transparent plot that can be used in the market analyzer to identify the conditions you are interested in.

For example you could plot a 0 (zero) when price is above the low band and below the high band, a +1 when price is above the high and a -1 when price is below the low band. The indicator can then be used in the Market analyzer and you would create cell conditions based on the input of +1, 0 or -1.

You can then create the filter conditions to enable the filtering of the stocks meeting the conditions specified.

    Market Analyzer Sort

    Hello

I am very new to using Market Analyzer and I have read the instructions in the online manual.

I am trying to figure out how I can:
    1. Automatically calculate if price is above/below bollinger band
    2. auto move the stocks higher in the list if the answer is true

Currently I have added the BB Upper and BB Lower columns to the Analyzer.

At this point I am stuck. It does not appear that I can add a separate column to check if that is true?
