    Currency Symbol Incorrect

In the "Positions" tab in the "Control Center" window, under the "PnL" column, the currency type (e.g. $ or £) is incorrect.

I am trading a US$ denominated contract so my PnL for an open position should be in US$ (my "Account Performance" is reported correctly in US$). I am in the UK and my PnL is reported in £. I'm guessing it is picking up the currency from my locale rather than from the contract type.

This is currently a bug in NT7, I'm assuming it's still a bug in NT8

    Hello snapgate,

    Thanks for your post today.

What currency pairs are you using when you see this behavior?

    Who are you connected to?

Also, please check the setting for "Auto subscribe to required instruments" under Tools -> Options -> Market Data. Is this setting checked in?

I'm trading the ES. I get my data from CQG via AMP Trading.

I don't think I have a setting for "Auto subscribe to required instruments" under Tools -> Options -> Market Data. I'm using NT7

        Hello,

Thanks for your reply, and for clarifying.

In the future, please be sure to direct NinjaTrader 7 questions outside of the NinjaTrader 8-specific Forum Topics. However, I'm happy to check into this with you. I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

The log file will be named "log.20160405.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

The trace file will be named "trace.20160405.txt"

I look forward to hearing from you.
