    Reprehensible Unrepresentable Date Time

    I have been getting this error on and off for months with NT8.
    I have no idea what indicator or bar type is causing it.
    All of my custom indicators have try catch blocks.
    I even added error trapping to the bar types I use.
    Is there anything that can be done about this?

    Have you tried a clean install?

    I had a lot of NT crashes since Beta1 that left Strategies that would give these errors...

    I backed up my NinjaTrader 8 folder and started new.

      Thank you for your post.

      Is this occurring during when you are connected to the Playback Connection and when playing back Replay data?
      Does this message occur when running in real-time data? Replaying Historical data?

        It happens in real time on tick replay charts. NOT in playback. Actually when this happens I don't get that far, NT crashes before real time data connects

        Don't know if it comes from an indicator or a bar type.

        Reinstalling NT is a useless waste of time. I never do that.

        The problem seems to be caused by a corrupted workspace, Saying that because I solved the problem (for now, anyway) by creating a new workspace and rebuilding my charts from templates.

          Thank you for your response.

          Can you send us your workspace and templates for the chart where this was seen? And if any custom objects are needed can you forward those to us?

          You can send the files to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick H - 1494909' in the subject line.

          The workspaces are under Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces and the templates are under Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates.

            error investigation

            Before doing that, I will go back to that workspace and try to duplicate the errors.
            I suspect that these problems may be related to specific conditions that occur in the historical data files that may eventually self correct..

            Will do this some time after RTH ends.

            It's also possible that changes just made to custom objects could have solved the problem.but as of now I still haven't been able to get that workspace to run.

            There are a lot of custom objects. If I can duplicate the error, what about zipping up and sending you my entire Custom folder, plus the Workspace?

            In that case I trust that you will please keep it confidential. Thx
