    Horizontal Grid Lines

    I see intermittent issues with horizontal grid lines not show up all the time. In the example attached the up vertically quiet a ways before the the grid line appears on the screen.

    2 minute chart of the spy withe the chart panel Horizontal grid lines FIXED, Ticks 50.

    Lines should be produced at 50 cent intervals relative to the SPY. No line is produced at 204.00 but you can see lines at 204.50 and 205. By holding CTRL and moving the chart panel up I stopped at the point where the 204 grid line became visible.

    No indicators on chart.

    The gridlines do not appear on every price level on a chart. Instead these appear automatically on some price levels and some time increments depending on the scale and range of the chart.

    Do you have a question about how these work?
    Are you wanting to submit a feature request to have the grid lines appear on every price level and every time interval no matter the range and scale?

      The gridlines do not appear on every price level on a chart. Instead these appear automatically on some price levels and some time increments depending on the scale and range of the chart.
      That's if the settings are on automatic which they are not.

      According to the Chart Panel settings that I changed by right clicking on the price axis and changed from automatic to fixed should print or display the horizontal grid line in the case of stocks or the SPY as I've shown every 50 cents not at random as you suggest.


      NT7 setup for 50 cents has no issues but NT8 charts do. The white chart examples are NT7 setup the same as NT8. You can see how the 204 price level grid line shows up even when dragged all the way to the bottom edge. On the NT8 chart it disappears about a one quarter of the chart size from the bottom.
